    Tip#1.

Never try to hit 6 on the first ball. Give yourself some time to get settled. Doing easy questions and leaving the tougher ones to be attempted after them is always considered better.

like they say in cricket, first take some time to study the pitch (test paper) and the swing/pace and bounce of the balls (questions). then plan/strategise how to pace your innings, which balls to be left alone, which balls to be played defensively (carefully, in case of slightly doubtful questions) and which balls to be hit for boundaries (the straightforward questions). but all this has to be done quickly, may be 5 -7 minutes out of total 75 minutes allowed per Section.

To much cricket in the environment! LOL

    Tip#2
While solving questions, which you have left for second innings (tough ones), Keep in mind that you allot the time evenly between all the three sections.
Don’t forget that you have to manage the individual cut offs as well.

More over some sections (on individual basis) may be more time eating. So that criteria should be kept in mind while distributing time.

Dear felicityhappiness, I think you have to wait for some more time to get into the advanced concepts based lessons and tests as we are right now working on the basics of each and every topic tested in CAT.

We will definitely come up with full length Mock CAT tests in the very near future.
