Hello,
Well, a 100 percentile on CAT definitely enhances your chances to get through IIM. However, since there are other qualifying criteria as well, the profile meeting with the expectations is likely to make through.
Your academic records, how well you fare through the Group discussion and Personal interview too play a vital role during the proceedings.

Adaab,
CAT, getting 100 percentile in it is a
great and ofcourse very difficult job and hence very few
IIMs-dreamers manage to get the same. But a 100 percentile only
doesn't ensure you to get into iims as there ,apart from cat score,
some crucial factors which play a vital role, are- your academic
record, work experience, ECA also upto
some extent, how well u did in GD & PI although PI is not an
elimination round. But, personally methinks, studendts who get 100
percenticle in CAT are some special kinda
persons and thats why they also do fair in post-cat-rounds and
shift theirself in topmost IIMs. Thanks
My dear respected sir, now I'm persuing B.com(Hons. in Management) in K.c das commerce college, Guwahati. Can I appear for CAT entrance now during my graduation.
After having a c.a.t score card of 98-100%ile.is it that important to have an excelnt acadmic background to get through an iim. An aspirant with an average or below average acadmic background after crackng c.at well can't get through iim
